About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Decommissioning Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient decommissioning of a warehouse facility in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, and delivering the project to schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all warehouse decommissioning activities on site.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and client procedures.
- Manage the removal, dismantling, and disposal of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.
- Monitor project progress against programme milestones.
- Conduct daily site briefings and toolbox talks.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
- Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and disruption.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide regular updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising warehouse decommissioning, warehouse fit-out, industrial dismantling, or logistics facility projects.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management practices.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Competent in risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
- SMSTS, SSSTS, or equivalent site management qualification preferred.
- First Aid certification desirable.
