This is a great opportunity for a QS with around 2+ years experience who is looking to develop their commercial skills, gain exposure to a variety of project types, and progress within a supportive and well-structured team. You will work closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and operational teams, gaining full exposure to the commercial lifecycle of projects from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commercial management of multiple construction projects
- Assist with valuations, applications for payment and cost reporting
- Help manage subcontractor packages, variations and final accounts
- Work closely with project and site teams to ensure accurate financial control
- Maintain and update commercial records and project documentation
- Support procurement and tendering activities where required
Requirements
- Approximately 2+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant QS role
- Background in construction, refurbishment or fit-out environments preferred
- Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
- Good communication and ability to work within a team
- Ambitious, proactive and keen to progress long-term
