Your Impact
As our new Director of HR, you’ll be at the heart of our global growth – leading our People strategy across the UK, US, Germany, Vietnam, and beyond. Based full-time in our Leicester city centre office, you’ll be a key member of our executive team, partnering directly with the CEO to build a human‑first, high‑performance culture. You’ll guide and scale every aspect of HR – from operations to culture – supported by a skilled People team: This is a high‑impact, hands‑on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives on strategy, action, and global collaboration.
What you’ll do
- People Strategy & Leadership
- Act as the voice of People on the executive team – shaping and delivering a global People strategy that aligns with our mission and growth
- Lead all core HR functions, including operations, compliance, performance, and employee relations
- Partner with leaders across the business to strengthen culture, boost engagement, and drive real results
- Build a high‑performing People function that balances smart scalability with a human approach
- Talent and Growth
- Lead global hiring strategies, ensuring we attract and retain exceptional talent
- Design and implement career pathways, performance frameworks, and growth plans that unlock potential across every level
- Champion our learning and development agenda, expanding programs and driving adoption of our LMS
- Build manager capability through targeted training and succession planning tools
- Culture & Engagement
- Build global engagement programs that resonate locally, across cultures, languages, and work styles
- Support collaboration and connection across time zones and regions – remote, hybrid, or in‑office arrangements
- Strengthen how we listen, grow, and lead — through clear feedback loops, meaningful initiatives, and intentional recognition
- Embed a culture of accountability, transparency, inclusion, and performance
- Operations & Compliance
- Own global HR systems, payroll, benefits, and compliance – for both employees and contractors
- Ensure accurate data, strong reporting, and readiness for audit across all markets
- Develop clear, compliant policies and provide strategic guidance on employee relations and risk
- Leicester Site Leadership
- Serve as a senior leader in our UK headquarters, one of our largest and most collaborative offices
- Foster cross‑functional connection and champion the local employee experience
- Oversee the office environment, ensuring it remains a great place to work – every day
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience in global, high‑growth environments – ideally Saas, ecommerce, or tech
- At least 3–5 years in a senior HR leadership role, influencing executive team exposure and strategic influence decision‑making and shaping people strategy at scale
- CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent experience, with expertise in global HR strategy and operations
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and confidence navigating multi‑country compliance and employee relations
- A people‑first leadership style that balances strategic thinking with operational excellence
