Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical skills, creativity, and technical expertise to enhance our online presence and drive sales. This role involves managing various aspects of our e-commerce platforms, including SEO optimisation, project management, and digital marketing strategies. Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise e-commerce platforms to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to enhance organic search visibility.
- Oversee project management tasks related to website updates, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Create listings for new and used items on various sites to include eBay, Facebook, Vinted etc
- Create compelling copy for product descriptions, emails, and social media posts that resonate with our target audience.
- Manage social media accounts to foster engagement and promote brand awareness.
- Research items, and price them accordingly.
- Store, catalogue and sort items that are for sale, and those awaiting listing.
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders for customers, as they are received.
- Communicate via email and telephone and any other method with customers and suppliers to ensure all queries are answered in a timely manner.
- Exhibit excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in e-commerce or a related field is essential.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent copywriting skills with an eye for detail in written communication.
- Experience in social media management and email marketing techniques is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
