We are hiring a Private Client Tax Senior/Manager to join our team. Clearcut Accounting comprises a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced accountants and tax advisers, specialising in a diverse range of industries. Our comprehensive services include personal tax, corporate tax, property taxes, and IHT, extending to international tax planning for businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Role Description and Responsibilities
- This position offers a full-time/part-time hybrid arrangement based in the Manchester area, United Kingdom, with the opportunity for remote work flexibility.
- Provide bespoke Inheritance Tax advice, managing relevant trusts.
- Offer property tax planning services.
- Manage a diverse portfolio, including non-domiciled individuals, high-net-worth clients, partnerships, and offshore trusts.
- Assist with advisory projects such as IHT planning, pre-arrival advice and offshore structures.
- Prepare for and attend client meetings, set budgets, and ensure timely delivery of work.
- Liaise with clients on tax matters, including IHT, income tax and capital gains tax.
- Handle HMRC enquiries and disclosures.
- Review personal and trust tax returns, ensuring HMRC deadlines are met.
- You will be allocated an impressive client portfolio, including HNWIs, directors, partnerships, trusts, and estates, involving a mixture of tax planning, compliance, advisory work, and ad-hoc projects.

- CTA/ATT/TEP with an experienced role in advisory for private and Inheritance tax.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Compensation and Benefits
- From a salary perspective, you will be looking at between £40,000 – 70,000, depending on knowledge and experience level.
