Computers For Flooring, part of the ClearCourse Group, is looking for a proactive and motivated IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Cardiff. This is your chance to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment where every day brings something new. The role is a mixture of IT and customer support, where you will not only support a range of IT systems, including our specialist in-house software, and be a key part of a team delivering fast, friendly, and effective technical support, you'll also get the chance to develop your people skills by demonstrating our products to potential customers and training our customers on their newly implemented system. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide first-line support to customers via email and telephone, troubleshooting issues efficiently and effectively
  • Train new users and deliver online demonstrations of our in-house software systems
  • Manage support inbox queries, filing completed tickets and ensuring prompt responses
  • Administer Office 365 licences, user accounts, and software deployments
  • Remotely connect to customer systems to diagnose and resolve technical problems
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data formatting and importing into databases
  • Handle virtual machine (VM) support, onboarding of customer environments, and pipeline management
  • Assist with the testing and rollout of new software updates
  • Track and analyse recurring issues to improve long-term support outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong interest in IT and good working knowledge of both hardware and software systems
  • Awareness of current IT trends and a willingness to learn on the job
  • A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • IT-related qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Ideally 1 year of experience in technical support and/or customer service
