Role Description
The Ecommerce Marketing Lead will be responsible for driving performance marketing activity across PPC, paid social and SEO for eCommerce businesses using the EKM platform. This is a hands-on role, combining strategic thinking with day-to-day campaign management and optimisation. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to deliver measurable growth through data-driven marketing activity. You will also provide guidance to a small specialist team supporting PPC and SEO delivery, while working alongside the commercial team to support new business and customer growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Marketing
- Manage Google Ads campaigns including Google Shopping, Search and Performance Max
- Run and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta and other platforms
- Manage campaign budgets and optimise for ROAS and revenue growth
- SEO & Organic Growth
- Develop SEO strategies across multiple eCommerce brands
- Work with development teams on technical SEO improvements
- Monitor keyword performance, visibility and organic growth
- Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor performance using GA4, Search Console and reporting tools
- Build dashboards and provide regular performance insights
- Analyse acquisition, conversion and customer value metrics
- Strategic Growth
- Support customer conversations and provide marketing expertise on client calls
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and increase customer value
- Stay up to date with marketing platform developments and emerging tools
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Google Ads, particularly Google Shopping and Performance Max
- Experience managing PPC campaigns and paid social activity
- Good understanding of SEO strategy and technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience using Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console and SEO tools
- Comfortable analysing marketing data and reporting on performance
- Experience working with eCommerce businesses or platforms
- Confident working with customers and internal stakeholders
