Business Development Manager – REMOTE opportunity Harbour Assist, part of ClearCourse, is a leading marina management software platform used by marinas, harbours, and waterfront organisations across the UK and internationally. Our technology helps marine businesses run smarter, improve customer experience, and drive commercial performance. We’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager with marine industry knowledge to help grow our customer base and strengthen our presence in the leisure marine sector. The Role This is a hands‑on, consultative sales role focused on winning new business. You’ll work directly with marina managers, harbour masters, and marine business leaders, using your industry insight to understand their challenges and position Harbour Assist as the solution. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and demos through to negotiation and close — working as part of a small, agile team. What You’ll Do Identify and convert new business opportunities across marinas, harbours, and marine organisations Deliver engaging product demos (online and in person) Manage and forecast your pipeline using CRM tools Use your understanding of marine operations (berthing, boatyards, customer services, billing) to sell consultatively Prepare proposals and lead commercial negotiations Represent Harbour Assist at industry events and customer visits What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of the marine industry (marinas, harbours, boatyards, marine services) Proven B2B sales experience (SaaS or technology preferred) Confident communicator with strong presentation skills Comfortable owning the full sales cycle Self‑motivated, commercial, and target‑driven Why Join Harbour Assist
