The role: We’re on the hunt for a talented individual to join our team and take our customer engagement to the next level. In this exciting role, you’ll blend creativity with strategy, organizing impactful events, driving bookings through collaboration with Inside Sales, and working with a vibrant team to promote our education and events, as well as supporting our Key Growth accounts. You’ll manage virtual sales funnels, track customer journeys, and leverage insights to optimise engagement, bookings, and ultimately revenue. Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Execution: Execute the education strategy as directed by the Clinical Education Manager, with a strong focus on driving revenue through impactful educational experiences. Execute the Growth strategy through dedicated infield marketing support for onboarding new high revenue customer acquisition and Tier 3 DSO accounts.
- Event Organisation And Promotion: Organise and manage key customer events tailored to specific customer needs, ensuring alignment with sales objectives. Organise and promote webinars and online courses that address customer pain points, with a focus on maximizing registrations and attendance, create pathways for follow-up sales engagements. Coordinate venue bookings, vendor management, and event logistics for trade shows and conferences. Handle travel arrangements for external speakers and Key Opinion Leaders. Collaborate with Inside sales to convert leads generated by the marketing activities into course bookings. Work with designers to create compelling, on-brand promotional materials. Source and coordinate promotional items for events and trade shows, ensuring they reinforce key sales messages.
- Sales And Bookings Management: Drive event promotion by actively engaging sales teams to leverage their networks and customer relationships. Partner with sales teams to understand customer challenges and drive tailored promotions that enhance engagement and participation. Develop and manage pre- and post-event communication strategies focused on nurturing leads and moving them through the sales funnel, utilising automation tools.
- Financial And Administrative Tasks: Gather and analyse customer feedback to tailor future educational offerings, aligning them with customer challenges and sales objectives. Track and analyse customer journeys to improve event targeting and enhance sales outcomes. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management team based on customer input, sales trends and ROI. Prepare detailed monthly reports linking event activities, customer engagement, and sales results to track overall performance and revenue contributions.
Key Requirements
- Sales-Oriented Mindset: Strong experience in outbound sales, customer engagement, or business development roles.
- Marketing Savvy: Knowledge of digital marketing, promotional material creation, and branding strategies.
- Customer Communication Expertise: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building rapport over the phone and via email.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), webinar platforms and Asana a must.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Ability: Capable of analysing customer feedback and event data to optimize strategies.
Preferred Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
- >3 years of experience in a sales-focused marketing or events role.
