Role Purpose
To supervise and coordinate specialist cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery through effective supervision of staff, equipment, and resources. The role requires hands-on involvement in industrial cleaning activities alongside supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day specialist and industrial cleaning activities
Allocate labour and equipment efficiently to meet operational requirements
Ensure all work is completed to agreed specifications, deadlines, and quality standards
Supervise, motivate, and support cleaning operatives
Supervise the allocation, maintenance, and safe use of specialist cleaning equipment whilst on site
Ensure all equipment is fit for purpose and compliant with relevant regulations
Ensure full compliance with instructions and risk assessments provided
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe systems of work are followed
Report accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement any immediate corrective actions
Act as a point of contact for clients on-site
Build and maintain positive working environment
Respond to on-site client queries
Supervise/undertake specialist and industrial cleaning tasks
Operate machinery such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other specialist equipment
