Early Morning Cleaner – Moortown in Leeds

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to providing a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

***Candidates should be aware this site is a fully operational veterinary practise and surgery that is open 24hrs a day, therefore applicants should be ok with animals and not have any allergies.***

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, consultation rooms and communal areas.
• Hours are Monday to Friday 5.00am to 8.00am.
• £12.21 per hour
• Role location is LS17 5NY.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure they are free from dirt and debris.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is essential
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with safe handling practices.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items.
