Position Overview

You’ll be joining the Corporate team, an industry segment within the Client Management department as a Senior Account Executive reporting to the Head of Corporate. The Corporate team challenges Medium to Large Corporate companies across a range of industry segments to think differently about their payment, liquidity, and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Offer unique perspectives on how ClearBank’s technology and infrastructure can enhance Corporate companies’ cash‑management practices.
  • Engage with client stakeholders across numerous roles and degrees of seniority throughout the sales process.
  • Help shape the segment’s sales and product strategy.
  • Build and manage a large pipeline of deals, ensuring continuous progress while maintaining accurate deal reporting and metrics.
  • Take responsibility for performance against objectives and account for delivering on them.
  • Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with Finance, Product, Marketing, Legal, Onboarding, and other teams.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver appropriate market‑facing presence and messaging.
  • Help develop the team through sharing experience, coaching, and support.

Qualifications

  • Deep interest in cash management, banking, payments, and a rapidly evolving industry.
  • 8+ years of cash‑management sales and/or relationship management within the corporate client segment.
  • Strategic thinker with experience helping shape sales strategy.
  • Strong existing corporate network and ability to meet senior C‑level executives.
  • Robust knowledge of digital banking solutions such as APIs, along with regulatory and scheme advancements.
  • Familiarity with embedded finance use cases and how to position them with corporate brands.
  • Excellent communication skills – effective listening, questioning, presentation; ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Subject‑matter expertise in UK & European payments, currency payments, and foreign exchange.
  • Highly self‑motivated, high‑energy, enthusiastic and willing to challenge yourself.
  • Willingness to learn, continually invest in professional skills and strive for excellence.
  • Resilient and able to overcome rejection, setbacks, and long sales cycles.
  • Ethics and integrity at high standard.
  • Adaptable, quick‑thinking, problem‑solving in real time.
  • Can perform under pressure while remaining calm.
