Overview

Join to apply for the Chief of Staff – Office of the CEO role at ClearBank.

ClearBank is built on the belief that banking infrastructure shouldn’t slow down progress. Speed it up and that’s when you unlock potential. When you really start to innovate.

That spirit and ‘can-do’ attitude is why our clients – from FinTechs and crypto platforms, to banks and credit unions – choose to use our API to power their banking infrastructure. But it’s our people who are the stars here. They power that innovation, push harder to break boundaries. They make coming to work (or working from home) fun. They’re the ones we trust to catapult our clients to success. Just as they trust us to build a business that’s always striding forward.

Your Mission Will Include

  • Playing a key role in developing and driving the delivery of ClearBank’s overall business strategy, enabling the strategic growth of our business.
  • Setting, tracking and driving accountability through the Group’s OKR framework.
  • Being a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO & broader Executive team, empowered to act and deliver on their behalf.
  • Reviewing opportunities for efficiency, such as automation, systems improvements and strategic focus, enabling our business to scale and service our customers.
  • Supporting the implementation and embedment of the ClearBank operating model, ensuring that shared functional services are being delivered effectively to the EU and UK banks.
  • Owning the reporting for various cyclical executive and Board reporting across the bank (monthly / quarterly) including quarterly business reviews and reporting to and liaising with investors.
  • Accountable for organising leadership meetings and offsites, focused on driving strategic discussions and a commercial outlook.
  • Driving a culture of high performance and individual accountability.
  • Management of ad-hoc projects in line with strategic priorities.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Experience within a fast-paced, high growth focused environment, ideally in a scale up business.
  • Proven ability in delivering commercial outcomes, ideally you’ll have Chief of Staff or Business Management experience.
  • Prior experience within, or working closely with, an Office of the CEO.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • The ability to think strategically and shape the future of how we operate with a bias to action and hands on approach.
  • A resilient self-starter that can manage ambiguity and create from scratch: you’ll be driving the agenda for the function so the ability to ‘make it happen\’ sits within your control. There is a lot to build, shape and implement.
  • This is an individual contributor role; the incumbent must be able to deliver through influence and drive high performance without direct control.
  • Able to deliver quality outcomes with strong attention to detail and the ability to distil complex information into concise updates and c-suite reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.

What makes a great ClearBank team member?

  • You focus on solutions and positive outcomes, thinking radically and responsibly to find the best result for our customers, your colleagues and the bank.
  • You actively seek feedback from others to drive your growth and development, always assuming positive intent from others and develop strong, trusting relationships you’re your colleagues and customers: you really, genuinely care.
  • You always strive for the highest quality, but you know that done is better than perfect; you welcome a challenge knowing that they learn as you go and iterate.
  • ‘I’ before ’we’, isn’t in your vocabulary.

Regretfully, we are not able to sponsor applicants for immigration purposes at the current time.
