But we wouldn’t be ClearBank without our people. They’re what powers our technology and the reason we love what we do every day. We’re a group of ambitious, curious people who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo. We believe in fairness, autonomy and choice, empowering our people with the tools and opportunities to learn, grow and contribute to the success of ClearBank and our clients.

About you

You’ll be joining the Product team as a Product Manager, reporting to the Head of Product, Cross-Border Payments and Foreign Exchange. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape ClearBank’s next generation of international payments and digital asset propositions. We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on Product Manager who can operate at the intersection of cross‑border payments, banking infrastructure and digital assets. You’ll help develop propositions that enable our clients to move money internationally through both traditional payment infrastructure and emerging digital asset and stablecoin rails.

You’ll be comfortable taking complex opportunities from discovery through to launch, working across Product, Engineering, Operations, Treasury, Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk and Commercial teams. You’ll combine strong customer understanding with commercial and technical thinking, translating market opportunities and complex payment flows into scalable products that solve genuine customer problems.

You will be:

  • Owning key initiatives across cross‑border payments and digital assets, helping define the product strategy, roadmap and delivery priorities.
  • Working closely with Engineering and cross‑functional teams to understand customer problems, define requirements and take new capabilities from discovery and design through delivery, pilot and commercial launch.
  • Developing ClearBank’s cross-border payment propositions, including international payment corridors, payment providers, payment networks and new payment rails.
  • Contributing to developing ClearBank’s Digital Assets proposition, including stablecoin payments, minting and redemption, fiat/stablecoin interoperability, custody and tokenisation-related opportunities.
  • Connecting traditional correspondent banking and payment networks with emerging digital asset infrastructure to deliver faster, more efficient and scalable global payment propositions.
  • Working directly with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to validate propositions and ensure they are commercially viable, operationally scalable and aligned with ClearBank’s risk and regulatory requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product roadmaps in partnership with the Head of Product, translating strategic objectives into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Own product initiatives across the full lifecycle, from customer discovery and business case development through design, delivery, pilot, launch and ongoing optimisation.
  • Evaluate how traditional correspondent banking, payment networks and blockchain-based rails can be used individually or together to improve international payment propositions.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Architecture and Business Analysis teams to translate customer and business problems into clearly defined product and technology requirements.
  • Lead product discovery with existing and prospective clients to understand customer pain points, underlying use cases and future requirements.
  • Build business cases and support product-level commercial management, including pricing, volumes, costs, revenue opportunities and product economics.
  • Work closely with Treasury, Operations, Financial Crime, Compliance, Legal and Risk teams to ensure new propositions can operate safely and effectively within ClearBank’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop appropriate operating models and ensure operational processes, controls and customer journeys are ready ahead of product launch.

Core Skills and Experience

  • Strong Product Management experience within payments, banking, fintech or financial infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of cross-border payments, including correspondent banking, international payment flows and the challenges associated with moving money across currencies and jurisdictions.
  • Experience taking complex financial products from discovery through delivery and launch.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Engineering teams in an Agile product environment.
  • Strong customer‑discovery skills, with the ability to turn customer problems and use cases into clear product requirements and priorities.
  • Strong commercial mindset, with experience considering pricing, costs, volumes, unit economics and business cases when making product decisions.
  • Ability to understand complex end‑to‑end payment flows and translate them into clear product, technical and operational requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and recommend pragmatic solutions.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Financial Crime, Treasury, Risk and Commercial functions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex payment or technology concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong ownership and accountability.
