Clearance Stock Supplies are looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Over the past 10 years, Clearance Stock Supplies has grown to become one of the UK’s premier surplus and clearance stock buyers, partnering with major UK PLCs, supermarkets, online retailers, manufacturers and importers. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for someone who can help us identify new opportunities, develop supplier relationships and source surplus stock across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and fast-growing company and play a key role in our continued growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing clearance and excess stock from businesses across the UK, building relationships with suppliers and identifying new opportunities. You will proactively approach companies to source surplus inventory across a wide range of categories including:

  • Toys
  • Consumer electronics
  • Household goods
  • Office equipment
  • Fitness products
  • Tools
  • And many more

You will identify stock opportunities and present potential deals directly to the company directors, helping us expand our supplier network and increase purchasing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and approach businesses with surplus, clearance, or excess inventory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across the UK
  • Source stock opportunities across multiple product categories
  • Present potential purchasing opportunities to company directors
  • Expand and strengthen our supplier network
  • Monitor market trends and identify new stock opportunities

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a business development, stock buying, clearance, or similar role
  • A strong “go-getter” attitude with the ability to proactively source opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
