We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team supporting the delivery of complex power and renewables projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage budgets, cost reports, and bill of quantities (BOQs)
- Lead commercial meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and progress applications
- Manage subcontractor accounts, including payments, retentions, and agreements
- Identify and report commercial risks, variations, and escalations
- Collaborate with planning teams to align programme and cost reporting
- Assess and agree dayworks, change orders, and remeasurements
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed commercial support documentation
- Negotiate with clients and stakeholders where required
- Ensure adherence to internal information security and governance standards
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally on electrical or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of contract conditions and commercial processes
- NEC3 contract experience preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Must have the right to work within the UK
