Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Herefordshire | Field Based
Salary: £50,000–£52,000 + Company Van
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a leading HVAC organisation, providing planned and reactive engineering support to customers across the region.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and fault finding
- Commissioning and servicing HVAC and air conditioning equipment
- Working on VRV, VRF, chillers, split and close control systems
- Attending reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns
- Completing risk assessments and maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Identifying additional service opportunities while on customer sites
- Supporting apprentices and junior engineers where required
About You
- C&G 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas qualification
- Strong experience in HVAC/Air Conditioning service and maintenance
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working independently across customer sites
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
