We’re working with a specialist engineering company at the forefront of energy monitoring, data acquisition, and smart building integration, delivering cutting-edge solutions across commercial and industrial environments. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Site / Commissioning Engineer to join their team, supporting the delivery and integration of advanced metering and BMS-connected systems across the UK.

Key Responsibilities- Commission and configure energy monitoring and data logging systems on-site
- Integrate solutions with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Work with communication protocols including Modbus, M-Bus, and BACnet
- Connect and validate utility meters (electricity, heat, water, gas)
- Diagnose and resolve integration and network communication issues
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and contractors
- Produce commissioning reports and technical documentation
- Support remote troubleshooting and system optimisation
- Experience with BMS / building controls systems
- Knowledge of metering systems and data logging
- Experience with Modbus, M-Bus, BACnet (or similar protocols)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel
