We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Hackney. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
- Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships
- Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
- Assisting with general finance administration and process improvements
About You
- Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
