BMS Service Engineer
Are you a BMS Service Engineer who enjoys solving problems, working with modern smart buildings, and being trusted to do the job properly?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing Building Management Systems specialist that is known for technical excellence, long-term client relationships, and looking after its engineers.
You’ll be working on a varied portfolio of commercial and high-end buildings across Southampton and the wider Hampshire region, carrying out fault finding, servicing, and optimisation of BMS systems — with real autonomy and strong technical support behind you.
Southampton Area
- £50,000 – £60,000

Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS installations
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware faults
- Support clients with system optimisation, energy efficiency, and performance improvements
- Work across a portfolio of commercial buildings (offices, healthcare, education)
- Provide clear technical feedback and reports
- Occasionally support small remedial works or upgrades where required
Desired Experience
- Proven experience as a BMS Service or Maintenance Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of HVAC control strategies
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Professional, client-facing attitude
- Full UK driving licence
