CLEAR Buckhaven & Methil is looking for a Community Corner & Volunteer Supervisor (CCVS) to manage the newly-renovated CLEAR Community Corner at 36 College St, Buckhaven and key related activities. The CCVS will also support other CLEAR actions, assisting with community engagement, working with other groups, agencies and businesses across Levenmouth, building community connections and partnerships, and participating regularly as part of a team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, creative and organised person to supervise the Community Corner space, supervise volunteers and placements, and take initiative to ensure the space is well-run and widely used, creating a welcoming, vibrant and informative environment. CLEAR seeks to improve and generate the wider community and support climate action.

Qualities preferred:- Commitment to local community action, Levenmouth regeneration and climate action
- Some work experience in similar settings, either voluntary, public or business setting
- Reasonable education standard including good IT capabilities
- Hard worker, able to work independently and take initiative but also ready to co-operate as a team player
- Good communication skills, and an enthusiastic and open personality
- Ideally, staying within the wider Levenmouth area
- Three working days per week Wed-Fri (a total of 18 hours), based primarily at the Community Corner (but may consider extending to 4 days, 24 hrs later)
- A salary of £14.25 per hour plus pension contribution and paid holiday entitlement (equivalent to 16.8 days for full year – prorata – some to be taken during Xmas-New year break)
- The contract will commence from 1st June (or as soon as recruitment process is complete) and is initially until 31 March 2027; any continuation thereafter is dependent on available funding and job performance.
