About The Company: At Clear Rod we are a Kent based non-franchise, family run business who have years of experience in providing comprehensive drainage solutions to satisfied customers. We can help customers in both the commercial and domestic sector with any of their drainage issues 24/7 365 days a year.

About the Role: We are looking for a drainage engineer to join our team based in Sidcup in Kent, we work for commercial and domestic clients in London and the South East (all within the M25).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out drain clearances, to internal and external drainage systems.
  • Use of high pressure water jetting.
  • Carry out and assist in drainage CCTV surveys.
  • Carry out Rotary Mechanical Machining (Able to unblock internal blockages, such as sinks, toilets, baths etc).
  • Reactive plumbing works - replace taps.
  • Remove toilets for access, investigate leaks etc.
  • Have high standards of communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve drainage system issues in a timely manner.
  • All work uploaded to phone, no paperwork.

About you:

  • Experience: 5 years experience is essential.
  • Experience in high pressure water jetting.
  • Experience with CCTV surveys.
  • Experience with Rotary Mechanical Machining/de-scaling.
  • Experience in reactive light plumbing duties.
  • Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Overtime potential and occasional weekend working.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekend availability.
