The predicted salary is between 51000 - 71000 £ per year.
Our Glasgow based client is looking for a permanent Solution Architect.
You will need the following:
- At least 5 years’ experience in Solution Architecture roles.
- Experience architecting solutions across a transformation programme.
- Demonstrable experience of defining and managing solution architecture around the MS stack (Azure, D365 and Business Central in particular).
- Implementation and integration experience moving from legacy applications into cloud based solutions including decommissioning.
- Data architecture experience (there is a junior DA in place, but this role will provide mentoring and oversight).
- Experience working in maturing architecture functions – the function is relatively new to the organisation and forming / helping stakeholders understand its value.
- TOGAF (desirable, but not essential).
- Any experience with CMS / headless solutions (desirable for future).
You will also need:
- Drive and the ability to act with a sense of urgency.
- Able to handle many spinning plates and changes in prioritisation and direction (you need to be unflappable).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss architecture at all levels from the leadership team to technical teams on the ground (some of these stakeholders will be non-technical).
- Willing to get your hands dirty – this is a lean transformation and our client needs people who can roll up their sleeves to help get the job done.
- A sense of humour and to be personable – this is a close knit team so building and maintaining relationships is important.
Logistics:
- Permanent.
- 2-3 days onsite in Glasgow each week.
- To £71k salary (there is no room to go higher than this).
