I’m recruiting on behalf of a client for a Senior Business Analyst on a fixed-term contract through to 31 January 2028 , with a strong possibility of extension.

This is a hands-on BA role within a busy transformation environment, and the client is looking for someone who can bring clarity and structure to projects that are still taking shape.

The core BA skills matter

  • requirements elicitation and workshops
  • process analysis and mapping
  • solution design
  • UAT
  • impact assessments and options analysis
  • challenging scope and priorities when needed There is also a stronger technical emphasis than you might see in a traditional BA role.

I'm particularly interested in people with experience around

  • software development lifecycle
  • APIs and integrations
  • data migration / data mapping
  • system implementations or replacements
  • working with technical teams and third-party suppliers You don't need to be a developer.

You do need to understand enough technically to ask the right questions, see the implications of decisions and bridge the gap between business and technology.

This is a busy transformation environment, so the right person will need to be adaptable, resilient and comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.

You’ll need to keep things moving when priorities shift, bring stakeholders with you, and work pragmatically when things aren’t perfectly defined.

We’re looking for someone who can build good working relationships, communicate confidently across different teams and stay constructive when things get pressured.

I’d broadly expect around 5+ years’ BA experience , but I wouldn’t rule out someone with less formal BA experience if they have strong technical delivery experience across several substantial projects. £60,000 salary 35 hours per week Remote-first Central Glasgow office, around one day per fortnight and as required Easy access from Glasgow Central and Queen Street Benefits include:

  • 28 days’ annual leave
  • 6% employer pension contribution
  • Medicash health cash plan
  • sick pay after probation
  • performance-related bonus scheme And when you are in the office, there are a few decent extras too: barista coffee, free biscuits, a weekly on-site masseuse and a beer tap.

If this sounds like you, message me.

If it sounds like someone you know, send them my way.
