Event and Digital Media Sponsorship Manager

Clear Path Analysis aims to grow its media portfolio to capture market share and consolidate its position as a market leader in the chosen sectors. Overview of Role
The Partner Development Manager (PDM) will work with the CEO to expand the number of clients associated with our events, particularly a flagship event in London, and manage warm relationships in the UK and continental Europe. The role requires established sales experience, a consultative sales approach, initiative, and reliability to work independently. The role involves engaging with C-suite and senior management professionals in asset management, banking, and financial technology. Experience selling advertising or sponsorship packages within a range of £5,000 – £60,000 and sales targets above £150,000 during the engagement is required. The candidate will report to the CEO.
Key duties of the role
- Actively selling on one main event and three side events, and identifying revenue opportunities for any media channel across the business
- Follow-up inbound leads and source new leads within existing clients / prospects
- Source sales leads from a variety of sources
- Manage client relationships across the life of an event
The ideal candidate
- Has worked in an institutional financial services, investment sector, FinTech, or fund services media role for at least 18 – 24 months
- Has at least two years of selling sponsorship packages; experience in other B2B industries will be considered
- Has a consultative selling style
- Can demonstrate a strong track record of sales relationships with top tier companies and a passion for industry knowledge and customer profiling
- Has a proven record of hitting sales targets
- Is creative, flexible, and able to work on diverse projects
- Is highly organized with a clear reporting and administration process
- Is a go-getter
