The predicted salary is between 28 - 28 £ per hour.
You will be working with higher education students to provide strategies to develop their skills in the management of the impact of the condition or impairment on their academic experience. This includes managing anxiety, developing concentration skills, time management skills, prioritising workloads, and creating schedules for work-life balance. You will also assist in acquiring, recalling, and retaining information in written and spoken language, as well as developing memory, organisation, attention, and numeracy skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person support at any of London Met, Westminster, or Kingston University Campuses.
Qualifications:
- A degree.
- Membership of a relevant professional body such as BACP, NCPS, HCPC, BPS, UKCP, COSCA, UMHAN.
Desirable experience:
- Experience in a similar role within the last five years.
- An understanding of the impact of disabilities in the further/higher education context.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
