We are a leading Principal Contractor, specialising in the design, supply, installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of curtain walling & cladding.
We are now recruiting for a Brick Foreman to join our team on a long-term basis (2 years).
Job Title: Brick Foreman
Location: L3,Liverpool
Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm
Pay: Negotiable
Employment Type: Full-time, CIS
Job Summary:
The Brick Foreman oversees and coordinates masonry crews, ensuring that all bricklaying, stonework, and related masonry tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on expertise in masonry, leadership skills, and the ability to manage schedules, materials, and team performance on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of bricklayers and labourers on site
- Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure deadlines and project specifications are met
- Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with management, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bricklayer or mason, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and construction regulations
