My client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their busy Property team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and growing law firm, managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload while benefiting from flexible hybrid working and genuine career progression.
The Role
- You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages
- New build transactions
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Providing clear, practical legal advice throughout the transaction
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion
- Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
- Supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer
- Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong knowledge of both freehold and leasehold transactions
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters
- Proactive and commercially minded approach
- Experience using case management systems would be advantageous
