A leading property management business is seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its in-house legal team to cover maternity leave in Southend-On-Sea, Essex.

This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of leasehold property matters while supporting the wider legal team and providing commercially focused legal advice.

The Role You will be responsible for managing a broad caseload of transactional leasehold matters, including:

  • Lease Extensions
  • Collective Enfranchisements
  • Deeds of Variation
  • Licences
  • Residential property transactions
  • Advising internal stakeholders on leasehold and property matters
  • Liaising with external solicitors, surveyors and other professional advisers
  • Supporting junior members of the legal team where required
  • Maintaining accurate case records and progressing matters efficiently
  • Assisting with wider property-related legal work as required Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Strong experience handling transactional leasehold matters
  • Experience with Lease Extensions, Collective Enfranchisements and Deeds of Variation
  • Solid background in residential property law
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
