Newbuild Conveyancing Assistant in Somerset, Taunton

Job Description My client is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their busy Property team in Taunton, Somerset. You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion. Managing residential property sales and purchases, including freehold, leasehold and new build transactions. Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors. Identifying and managing risks in accordance with firm procedures. Maintaining accurate and up to date case records using legal case management systems. Providing a consistently high level of client care and building strong professional relationships. Be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, or have equivalent residential conveyancing experience. Have strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process and relevant legislation. Have experience dealing with leasehold, new build and shared ownership transactions. Have knowledge of CQS requirements and anti-money laundering procedures. Have experience using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office. Company health cash plan. Enhanced annual leave.
