An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Client Portfolio Manager to manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
Act as the main point of contact for clients.
Prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax, and self-assessment tax returns.
Provide accounting, tax, and business advice.
Review work completed by junior team members and provide support and mentoring.
Liaise with HMRC and Companies House.
Manage deadlines and ensure compliance obligations are met.
Identify advisory and tax planning opportunities.
Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified.
Minimum 3 years recent UK accountancy practice experience.
Previous portfolio management experience.
Strong knowledge of statutory accounts, corporation tax, and self-assessment returns.
Experience reviewing junior staff work.
Proficient in IRIS and Xero.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience with Quick Books and Sage.
HMRC enquiries and investigations experience.
Management accounts experience.
