Our Client is seeking a Probate Solicitor to join their growing team in Bury. The role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and the remainder worked remotely. Part-time and flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of probate matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising clients on estate administration, wills, and inheritance matters
- Preparing and submitting probate applications and related documentation
- Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and HMRC
- Ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with SRA standards and regulations
- Providing clear, professional advice while maintaining high standards of client care
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with relevant post-qualification experience in probate
- Strong knowledge of probate procedures, estate administration, and inheritance matters
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards in line with SRA regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
