My client are a well-known Chartered Accountancy firm. They are looking for an Audit Candidate from Audit Semi Senior/ Senior/ Assistant Manager/ Manager to join their Newton Abbot office.
Role & Responsibilities include:
- Complete/Plan audits in accordance the Firm's audit procedures, with assistance from more senior members of staff
- Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns.
- Preparation of reports to be presented by Directors during client meetings.
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries.
- Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified
- Practice experience essential 1 year minimum
- Strong IT skills and proficient in the use of computerised audit, accounts and tax software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take responsibility for managing and prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines
- Accurate, methodical and inquisitive approach to work
- Motivated and highly effective whether working independently or as part of a team
