My client, a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice, is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant with UK practice experience who is looking to broaden their exposure across accounts, tax and advisory work while progressing towards a professional qualification.
The Role
- Preparing statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
- Preparing Corporation Tax, Self Assessment Tax Returns, P11Ds and Capital Gains Tax reports
- Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting and tax queries
- Identifying tax planning and business improvement opportunities
- Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent service
- Assisting managers with advisory projects and ensuring deadlines are met
The Ideal Candidate
- AAT qualified and studying ACA or ACCA (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' UK accountancy practice experience
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns
- Strong knowledge of Xero or other cloud accounting software
- Iris experience desirable
- Excellent organisational, communication and client relationship skills
- Proactive with the ability to manage multiple client assignments
