My client, a growing and ambitious accountancy practice, is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Director to join their leadership team (just under Managing Director) and play a key role in shaping the future growth of the firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded advisor who enjoys building trusted relationships with business owners, leading teams and delivering strategic tax and advisory solutions.
The Role
- Managing and developing a significant portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor
- Providing corporate and personal tax advisory support
- Identifying new business opportunities and growing client relationships
- Managing WIP, recoverability, billing and fee budgets
- Leading, mentoring and developing managers and senior staff
- Supporting strategic planning, operational improvements and firm-wide initiatives
- Driving innovation and improving client experience through technology and new ways of working
The Ideal Candidate
- ACCA and/or CTA qualified
- 6+ years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
- Strong corporate and personal tax knowledge
- Proven advisory and business development experience
- Experience managing a client portfolio commercially
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop teams
- A commercially driven, entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to progress
