My client is seeking an Employment Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE to join their established Employment team in Feltham, Greater London.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising both employers and employees while developing your career within a well-established and supportive law firm.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a broad caseload of employment law matters, including:
- Advising employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious employment issues
- Handling matters involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistleblowing and TUPE
- Advising on restrictive covenants and post-termination restrictions
- Drafting and negotiating Settlement Agreements
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
- Providing commercially focused legal advice and excellent client service
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure matters are progressed efficiently
- Assisting with business development and maintaining strong client relationships
- Meeting billing and performance targets
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2+ years' PQE in Employment Law
- Experience advising both employers and employees
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of employment matters
- Experience drafting and advising on Settlement Agreements
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Commercially minded with strong organisational skills
- Motivated with a proactive and flexible approach
