My client, based in Bristol, is a growing and established law firm with a strong focus on delivering high-quality legal services and excellent client care. They are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Senior Paralegal to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Progress commercial property acquisitions and refinances under supervision, meeting deadlines
- Agree case strategy, take instructions and advise clients
- Progress matters proactively and work collaboratively across teams
- Communicate with clients, solicitors, lenders and agents throughout matters
- Obtain and prepare searches, Land Registry, Companies House and other legal documentation
- Submit relevant documentation and assist with completions and engrossments
- Complete AML checks, file reviews and risk assessments, maintaining accurate records
- Liaise with compliance and support teams and follow relevant policies and procedures
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
- Law degree or equivalent work-based experience
- Minimum of 12 months' experience working within a law firm
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment is desirable
- Experience working within Commercial Property is desirable
Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing legal documents and completing forms
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build professional relationships with clients and other legal professionals
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines
- Good IT skills and confidence working with electronic systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal technology is desirable, although full training will be provided
