My client is a leading property tax and professional services firm, looking to appoint a Capital Allowances Consultant to join their growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Capital Allowances specialist or property professional with relevant experience to work on a broad range of client projects, supporting the delivery of claims, technical reports and advisory work.

The role:

  • Preparing capital allowances claims across a range of commercial property projects
  • Analysing construction cost data, property documentation and financial information
  • Producing technical reports and client deliverables
  • Supporting client meetings and relationship management
  • Working alongside experienced consultants on complex property tax projects
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and HMRC guidance

The ideal candidate:

  • Around 4–8 years’ experience in capital allowances or a related property/tax discipline
  • RICS qualified (MRICS) or working towards a relevant accounting/tax qualification (ATT, ACA, CTA)
  • Background in surveying, property, construction, accountancy or tax
  • Experience within a consultancy or professional services environment
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication ability
