My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Private Law Solicitor to join their busy and supportive Family Department office based in Bolton.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
Handle a varied caseload including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and domestic abuse cases.
Undertake a mix of Legal Aid and privately funded family work.
Use the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) and apply Legal Aid eligibility criteria appropriately.
Undertake advocacy where appropriate.
Maintain high standards of client care and legal practice.
Work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
About You
Experience in private family law.
Experience managing a mixed caseload of Legal Aid and privately funded matters.
A good working knowledge of CCMS and Legal Aid processes.
Confidence undertaking your own advocacy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
