The role would suit a solicitor with experience of Legal Aid work and advocacy who is confident managing their own caseload. Undertaking advocacy and attending court, including Saturday Court Preparing bills for private clients and submitting interim payment claims to the Legal Aid Agency where appropriate Keeping up to date with changes in criminal law and practice Attending relevant training and professional development courses Experience in criminal law and Legal Aid practice Advocacy experience Good knowledge of criminal legal procedures Experience managing your own caseload with limited supervision Understanding of legal billing procedures Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle This is an excellent opportunity for a Crime Solicitor seeking a varied role with responsibility for their own caseload, advocacy and client representation.
