My client is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their growing and dynamic accountancy practice.
You ll manage a varied portfolio of small business clients, providing high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services while building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit annual accounts and tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.
Manage a portfolio of clients, providing proactive accounting and tax advice.
Review clients tax positions and identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency.
Prepare and review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS returns where required.
Conduct year-end meetings with clients to present financial results and provide business advice.
Deliver advisory services including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and business performance support.
Onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into the practice.
Liaise with HMRC and Companies House to resolve client queries and maintain statutory compliance.
Carry out client fee reviews.
Support the Client Manager and Senior Accountant within the team.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Maintain accurate electronic client records and documentation.
Deliver bookkeeping training and other external client training where appropriate.
