An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Paralegal to join a successful and close-knit Property Department in Chichester.
The department covers both Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Property, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work alongside experienced Fee Earners within a supportive, professional and client-focused environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive Paralegal who enjoys working as part of a team while taking ownership of their responsibilities and delivering a high standard of client service.
The Role
As a Property Paralegal, you will provide effective support to Fee Earners across the Property Department, with a particular focus on Residential Property.
Your responsibilities will include:
β’ Providing day-to-day paralegal and administrative support to Fee Earners
β’ Assisting with residential property transactions and progressing matters efficiently
β’ Communicating professionally with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties
β’ Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
β’ Maintaining accurate and well-organised electronic files
β’ Assisting with file management and ensuring matters remain compliant with internal procedures
β’ Supporting the department with general administrative and secretarial duties
β’ Working effectively within a paper-lite/paperless environment
β’ Ensuring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and client care at all times
The Ideal Candidate
β’ Previous experience working as a Paralegal within a Residential Property/Conveyancing Department
β’ Previous experience working within a solicitors' office
β’ Strong administrative, organisational and IT skills
β’ Excellent communication and client care skills
β’ The ability to communicate confidently with clients and professional third parties
β’ A proactive and self-motivated approach
β’ The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
β’ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
β’ The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
β’ A good understanding of file compliance and professional standards
β’ Experience working with electronic case management systems and in a paperless environment
