Job Description Semi Senior Accountant – Barnsley \ N Salary: up to £30,000 + benefits \ N An expanding accountancypractice in Barnsley is looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join its growing team. \ N This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm, with full study support and ongoing training available. \ N The Role \n The successful candidate will support a varied portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including: \ N - Preparation of company and partnership accounts \ N - Management accounts andbookkeeping \ N - Personal and partnership tax returns \ N - Quarterly VAT returns \ N - Client liaison and attending meetings \ N - Supporting and mentoring apprentices \ N - General accountancy andadministrative duties \ N Experience with Sage 50,Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS, BrightPay or similar software would be advantageous.
