  • Assist with drafting, reviewing and updating a wide range of legal documents, including client agreements, terms & conditions, vendor and consultancy agreements, NDAs and intra‑group documentation, and other legal documentation.
  • Support negotiations by preparing mark‑ups, issue lists and summaries of key legal and commercial points.
  • Assist with legal review of external communications, including marketing materials, website content and client‑facing documentation.
  • Conduct legal research on UK, EU and international legislation relevant to fintech, payments and financial services, and help translate findings into practical guidance.
  • Support the identification and assessment of legal and regulatory risks linked to business decisions, products, services, markets and counterparties.
  • Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of legal policies, procedures, templates and internal guidance.
  • Support regulatory audits, health checks and information requests, working closely with Risk, Fraud and AML teams.
  • Help manage relationships with external legal counsel by coordinating inputs, documents and follow‑ups.
  • Maintain accurate legal records, documentation and audit trails in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, AML, Risk, Fraud and HR to support day‑to‑day legal needs.
  • Act as a backup to other members of the Legal team when required and support ad‑hoc legal projects as requested by senior legal colleagues.
  • Contribute to process improvements and legal operations initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and consistency.
What We’re Looking For
  • A law degree and early‑career legal experience (in‑house or private practice).
  • Strong interest in commercial law, regulatory law or financial services.
  • Good understanding of contracts and legal documentation, or a strong desire to develop this area.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive, reliable and collaborative approach to work.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
  • Willingness to learn, take ownership and grow within an in‑house legal function.
Benefits
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
  • Private Medical Insurance: full Private Medical & Dental Cover (after probationary period).
