My client is recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join their employment law team in either Hedge End, or Winchester in Hampshire. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with fee earners, assist with a broad range of administrative and client-related tasks, and develop strong experience within a high-performing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient administrative and secretarial support to Employment fee earners
- Provide a professional, friendly service to clients across all communication channels
- Prepare accurate typing and digital dictation work
- Maintain organised and compliant filing systems, ensuring all documents are stored and updated promptly
- Assist with file management, keeping records up to date and progressing matters as directed
- Manage diaries for both yourself and the fee earner(s), ensuring key dates are recorded and acted upon
- Arrange client appointments and ensure all necessary information is available ahead of meetings
- Support with monetary transactions in line with firm procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong awareness of data protection
- Participate in required training and support the development of colleagues when needed

- Strong working knowledge of administrative processes, procedures, and legal workflows within a department or practice area
- Proficient with MS Office and case management systems
