Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their growing Conveyancing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and ambitious law firm with a strong reputation across the residential property market. The firm has experienced significant growth across its UK offices and continues to invest heavily in technology, client service and the development of its people. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive team handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, with exposure to high-quality work and excellent long-term progression opportunities.

The Role

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • New build and shared ownership transactions
  • Remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Title checking and reporting to clients
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Reviewing mortgage offers and searches
  • Exchanging contracts and completing transactions
  • SDLT submissions and Land Registry matters
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers and third-party solicitors
  • Maintaining compliance with AML and regulatory procedures

The Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive status
  • Strong experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
  • Experience within the London property market and complex leasehold matters preferred
  • Knowledge of current property legislation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with referrers and clients
  • Strong organisational and case management skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
