My client is an Age Top 50+50 firm of Accountants based in the South West, with over 300 team members across 16 offices.

They are looking for a Trainee Part-Qualified Accounts Technician to join them on a permanent basis in their Exeter office.

You will continue studying your AAT qualification (ideally under an apprenticeship agreement but not essential). The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is a professional qualification which can help you to achieve a rewarding career in accountancy. Studying for the Level 4 AAT apprenticeship qualification includes learning the fundamentals of bookkeeping and accounting standards, as well as personal and business tax. My client will not only offer you support and mentoring throughout, but they will also fund your qualification.

  • As the role requires the ability to study and pass formal exams, we would look for a strong track record in obtaining qualifications often indicated by strong results in GCSEs, A-levels (or equivalent), however other academic history will also be considered.
