My client is a Top 20 Accountancy firm and they are looking for a Tax Senior / Assistant Manager / Manager to join their established team in Rochester, Kent. This is a mixed tax role with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses. The role offers the chance to build strong client relationships, produce advisory work, and support the Directors within the tax team. The firm is open to considering candidates at different levels and qualifications, and part-time hours can be considered. Key responsibilities: • Review and support compliance team with preparation of personal tax returns • Review and support corporation tax returns prepared by accounts department • Manage a varied portfolio including planning and advisory projects • Prepare/review capital gains tax computations for self-assessment returns and 60-Day CGT Declarations to HMRC • Prepare/review ERS and EMI returns • Review forms P11D, P11D(b), and PSA calculations • Handle ad hoc capital tax reporting, inheritance tax and estate work • Liaise directly with HMRC on enquiries and investigations • Support and mentor junior team members Requirements: • ATT or CTA qualified • Good tax knowledge across personal and corporate tax • Strong IT skills including MS Office; experience with CCH software advantageous • Strong organisational skills with a problem-solving approach • Excellent communication sk…
