Our client, based in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its specialist tax team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring high-quality compliance and advisory services.
  • Provide advice on areas including inheritance tax, estate planning, capital gains tax and R.
  • Oversee and review tax returns, computations, P11Ds, Employment Related Securities (ERS) filings and ATED returns.
  • Manage project delivery, budgets and client expectations.
  • Support business development activities, networking and client growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • ATT qualified and ideally CTA qualified.
  • Approximately 4-5 years experience within a tax-focused role in accountancy practice.
  • Strong personal tax compliance experience is essential.
  • Corporate tax and advisory experience is advantageous.
  • Strong technical and analytical abilities, with experience using tax and accountancy software (IRIS experience beneficial).
  • Proven experience managing, developing and mentoring tax professionals.
