Our client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Residential Property Paralegal to join their Residential Property team in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded and award-winning law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fee earners on a busy and varied residential conveyancing caseload while developing their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the management of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Opening new client files and carrying out conflict checks and ID verification procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining electronic and paper files
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors throughout the transaction process
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
  • Updating and maintaining the firm’s case management system
  • Supporting fee earners with day-to-day case progression
  • Managing post, filing and general administrative duties
  • Ensuring transactions progress efficiently and clients receive excellent service throughout

The Candidate

A minimum of 6 months experience within a Residential Conveyancing department. Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal is essential.
